O personagem Freddy Krueger, ícone dos filmes de terror e uma das mais inesperadas adições ao elenco de Mortal Kombat, já se encontra disponível para download. Mas qual seria a sua motivação, o que o levou a lutar no torneio?
A história é bem simples. Freddy aproveitava sua rotina de devorar
almas inocentes, quando Shao Khan começou a invadir o reino da terra e
roubar essas mesmas almas. Freddy o desafiou no Reino dos Sonhos, mas o
imperador sabia que lá seria impossível de vencê-lo e então o
transformou em uma criatura de carne e osso novamente.
A palavra usada no trailer na verdade é “mortal”, o que tem um belo
duplo sentido. Afinal, Freddy mantém vários de seus poderes, inclusive
suas garras bem afiadas, tornando-o mais mortal do que nunca. Agora o
personagem deseja matar Shao Khan para retornar ao Reino dos Sonhos e
seguir sua real vocação em Elm Street.
Para o Xbox 360, o personagem está disponível por 400 Microsoft Points, mas se você comprou o Season Pass, ele é o personagem que restava para receber no pacote. Na PlayStation Network,
Freeddy está saindo por US$ 4,99 ou R$ 10,99, na versão nacional. Você
também pode comprá-lo em um pacote com Kenshi, Rain e Skarlet por US$
14,99.
