O UFC 136 acontecerá no sábado no Toyota
Center, Houston, Estados Unidos e terá a disputa de dois títulos do
UFC.
A luta principal será a disputa do título dos
leves (até 70kg) onde o campeão Frankie Edgar colocará o seu cinturão em disputa
contra Gray Maynard, ambos representantes dos Estados Unidos.
O campeão tem 13 triunfos, uma derrota e um
empate no MMA, vindo de empate justamente contra Gray Maynard no UFC 125 no dia
01 de janeiro de 2011, onde manteve o seu título dos leves.
Gray Maynard, por sua vez, agora terá
novamente a chance de ser o campeão da categoria, levando na bagagem 10 vitórias
e um empate, já tendo superado o atual campeão por decisão unânime no UFC Fight
